Deighton Pierce Glynn (DPG) Solicitors is delighted to announce that Ahmed Aydeed has accepted the firm’s invitation to become a Partner. Ahmed Aydeed, formerly a Public Law Director at a large Legal Aid Firm, brings a wealth of expertise in public law and human rights, having dedicated his career to representing some of the most vulnerable individuals in society.

He has extensive specialist experience advising individuals on all types of Public Law and Human Rights matters.

He comes to Deighton Pierce Glynn to lead a team of public lawyers specialising in complex strategic group litigation, in the London office.

He is ranked in the Chambers and Legal 500 directories. In 2017 Ahmed was awarded the Law Society’s Excellence Award for Junior Lawyer of the Year. He was “Highly Commended” at the Law Society Excellence Awards in the Human Rights Lawyer of the Year category in 2018 & 2020 and was shortlisted for Partner of the Year at the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards in 2018. In 2019 he was a finalist for ECPAT UK’s 2019 Children’s Champion Award & was the winner of the 2019 Marsh Award at the Human Trafficking Foundation’s Anti-Slavery Day Awards. He was also the 2019 Winner of the Rising Star Award at the UK Diversity Legal Awards.
