Home Truths: the Response of the Law to Domestic Violence

The Law Society Gazette have published an article titled ‘Home Truths’ exploring the uneven response of the law to domestic violence. It considers some of the advances made in the context of inquests and civil claims against the state, with insight from Deighton Pierce Glynn’s Sarah Ricca. It also highlights the work of the Centre for Women’s Justice, as well as areas where women continue to be failed such as housing, in the family courts, and where women have no recourse to public funds.
