Aiya joined Deighton Pierce Glynn as as a paralegal in January 2023 and assists Sasha Rozansky and Helen Baron in bringing strategic litigation challenges that focus on migrant rights.
Aiya previously worked at an immigration and asylum department of another firm working on both applications and appeals. She volunteered as a caseworker for other organisations aimed at increasing access to justice for the most vulnerable in society. Aiya was also part of the University of Bristol Human Rights Law Clinic and produced implementation reports for international organisations.
