Tabby is a solicitor in our London office. She has worked at DPG since February 2023. Prior to joining DPG, she worked as a solicitor in the litigation and dispute resolution team at Clifford Chance LLP, where she qualified as a solicitor in September 2021. As a trainee solicitor, she undertook secondments at the Howard League and Refugee Action.
Tabby works primarily on public law challenges, acting for often highly vulnerable individuals and assisting them to challenge unlawful state decisions which infringe on their rights. She has a particular focus on asylum seekers’ and children’s rights, including unaccompanied migrant children. She has worked on a number of strategic cases regarding asylum support provision and local authority support for children in need. Tabby has also acted on a number of public law discrimination challenges.
Tabby is experienced in unlawful detention damages claims and has been working with Emily Soothill on a large unlawful detention group claim.
Tabby is also a supervisor for the firm’s PAP Project, assisting NGOs with challenging government decisions.
